The Scripor Alphabet Community

We are not just an NGO, we are a global community.

In our association, we are welcoming the blind, colorblind, and visually impaired people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world with the help and benefits offered by the tactile alphabet of colors.

The Scripor Alphabet Association is constantly growing and consists of blind children, youth and adults, educators, special education teachers, psycho-pedagogues, doctors, researchers, architects, IT programmers, scientists, athletes, business developers, volunteers, and many more.

Volunteers

Diversity makes us stronger, more innovative and we are committed to promote equal opportunities without discrimination derived from disability, sex, age, disability, ethnic or racial origin, religion, political belief, or sexual orientation.

We passionately believe in the power of education to change attitudes, lives, and ultimately, the world.

In fact, everything we do — from the only 10 tactile small dots to the literacy sparked by the eLearning platform, from our community to the global community of the blind, colorblind, and visually impaired people — we are driven by the following goal: to facilitate color identification for people with visual impairments, while contributing determinately to their welfare, social, professional, and cultural integration.

“The Scripor Alphabet Association grassroots volunteers are like you and me – like-minded people who want to make a difference and contribute to the community by empowering the lives of millions of people with visual impairments from around the globe.” Tudor P. Scripor – the creator of the Scripor alphabet.
